I may have gone overboard with the photos of this bulb but I wanted to show the color and also, because I love it soooo much. I have a similar bulb that wasn't cheap and it's not nearly as good. This one is amazing because while it is an amber color when it's off, it is a beautiful slightly warm light when it's on (2700K). So not overly yellow (like my old one) and not too white (which makes my complexion look terrible). Also the dimmer is fabulous, it doesn't hiss. I've had so many "dimmable" lights that made that weird noise when I put them on lower settings. This one is whisper quiet. In these pictures I posted there's no way I could put it on full strength, it just overwhelmed the camera. But I have a couple on the dimmer settings and then when it's off to show how beautifully reflective it is. And I wanted to show the color difference from off to on. And makes a really nice light for zoom calls; bright enough but doesn't make me look washed out.

I have a few vintage-style bulbs and was interested in trying this larger style in one of my hanging fixtures. It plugs into the same type of socket as a standard lightbulb but it’s about 5-6x as large. Some reviews mention scratches and markings in the glass, but this really isn’t an issue as the lightbulb is so bright you can’t see them once it’s on. It’s only truly noticeable when the lightbulb is off, or in photographs. Since it’s advertised as having an amber finish, I was really hoping for the warm, amber glow that I’ve gotten with other Edison bulbs. Well, this bulb is definitely bright — but it’s not warm, and it’s definitely not radiating any amber-colored light. It essentially emits the same cool-toned, modern LED cast that’s virtually everywhere these days. This is a disappointment for those looking for old-fashioned, incandescent-style lighting. If you’re simply looking for a large, globe-shaped lightbulb that fits into a standard light socket, this is the product for you. But if you’re after a true vintage glow or amber lighting, you’re better off searching elsewhere.

This is big. I hoped to use this in one particular fixture, but the height when inserted was just too tall. However, I am still happy with the lamp. The light it gives off is very similar to the light coming from warm white lamps so I'd say that 2700°K is about right. Next to 3" globe lamps, you can see just how big this guy is. The glass has a nice amber tint to it and its slightly mirrored so it pulls off the vintage look well. For the size, the cost is probably about right if you compare it to other specialty lamps. The lamp had no trouble dimming when controlled by a Lutron PWM dimmer. I recommend this lamp. Just make sure you measure carefully.

This is a great looking bulb. I don’t realize how large it was going to be until i opened the box. It gives off a nice soft white but warm glow. My bulb didn’t have any scratches on it and overall it looks really nice. Unfortunately my lampshade covers the beauty of this bulb so i do plan on getting a new lamp that has a glass type of shade to really show off this bulb. I haven’t noticed any flickering at all even when taking a video with my camera phone. It also is dimmable which functions flawlessly and is always a nice feature to have. I like to dim it just a little when watching movies. It seems to be built well and durable but time will tell. Really happy with my purchase at a great value!

This is a large, really beautiful globe bulb with a warm amber tint, looks very vintage but with better efficiency. Installed it in my floor lamp and it looked great at first, but once I turned it on I noticed scratches and marks on the glass that weren’t visible before, which was disappointing. I contacted the store and they responded quickly, sent a replacement without any hassle, and the new one was perfect. In the end, really happy with how they handled it and with the bulb now
