I’m usually skeptical about LED 'Edison' bulbs because they often flicker or buzz when you dim them. This one works flawlessly with my Lutron switch. It dims all the way down to a faint glow without any issues. Ideally, you want this for atmosphere/mood lighting rather than task lighting since it's 400 lumens, but for a dining area or bedroom, it's perfect.

Okay, the description said 'oversized,' but I wasn't prepared for how big this actually is! It’s huge and has a nice weight to it—feels very high quality, not cheap glass. I have it on a simple black pendant cord (no shade needed), and it fills the space perfectly. The spiral filament looks mesmerizing when dimmed down. 10/10 would recommend.

Literally obsessed with this bulb. The shape is super unique (kind of a long teardrop), and the amber glass makes the light look so cozy and inviting at night. It doesn’t hurt your eyes to look directly at it. Easy way to make a room look designer on a budget. Love it!

It’s more expensive than a standard bulb, obviously, but the build quality is clear. The spiral filament is perfectly centered and the glass has a beautiful weight to it.

I could stare at the spiral filament for hours. When you dim it down low, the detail is just insane. It’s less of a light bulb and more of a piece of kinetic art.

If you’re looking for bright white light to work by, this isn't it. But if you want a golden, cozy, 'sit-by-the-fire' atmosphere, the PS160 is perfect. The 2000K-ish warmth is spot on.

I love the Edison aesthetic but usually find the bulbs too small. This oversized version is exactly what I needed for my vaulted ceilings. The glass quality is top-notch—no weird bubbles or streaks.

For something this big, I was worried it would be too heavy for my pendant cord, but it’s actually quite manageable. It feels sturdy but didn't strain the fixture.

Omg this bulb is HUGE 😂 I knew it was big, but seeing it next to a tape measure… wow. The glass feels super solid, the spiral looks amazing, and it already gives such a cool vintage vibe even before turning it on. Can’t wait to install it — this thing is literally a centerpiece by itself.

Omg this thing is massive 😅 I pulled it out of the box and couldn’t stop laughing — it’s literally bigger than my head. The amber tint looks super premium, and the spiral filament inside is crazy beautiful. I haven’t even installed it yet and it already feels like a piece of art.

The light is beautiful and the glow is soft warm but this is a lot larger than i thought, and I struggled to find a place to put it. You will need a rather high up fixture because this thing is massive as you can see. There is very little warmth generated from the bulb, and its a nice stable glow. Just be sure that you have the right place to hang it because of the size.

This bulb is HUGE!!! This bulb is BEAUTIFUL!!! Honestly was taken by surprise on this one for numerous reasons. Let's start with the size...holy crap. I actually laughed when I saw the size of the box it came in, it's a statement piece. Hang it from the ceiling without anything around it, it'll still look cool. I plan on doing this, actually. It also would look cool in a hanging fixture that shows the bulb surrounded by clear glass. I'm testing it on a standing lamp without the shade partially because it won't fit anything I own with a shade still attached (lol), but mostly because it's awesome to look at. I love Edison-style bulbs and this was exciting to find and display. Common bulb aspects to mention: Color temp: excellent, it gives off a nice warm glow, I love it just before bed. I have the warm white version with amber glass. It's dimmable down to nightlight levels and still looks good. Flicker?: NONE. This doesn't let the AC flicker through at ALL, so moving your eyes around the room won't bother those sensitive to flicker. I'm picky about LED bulbs not flickering. Dimming: YEP! As in the photos, this dimmed with a simple lamp dimming switch down to a very, VERY low light output with NO flicker! I used the same camera settings to show you a variety of brightnesses achievable, from nightlight to 40w equivalent. I don't know if different dimmers will cause flicker, but mine is a basic slider dimmer for lamps. I'm guessing this bulb has a circuit to clean up whatever dimmer you may have. I have used this dimmer on other LED Edison bulbs and they DID flicker, so this one seems to be immune! Very positive marks for this, because it will work very well as accent ambient light. The bulb itself is presentable even when off, and displays a beautiful double-helix made of very small LED strips you see in other "Edison style" bulbs. The glass reflects these and makes it look like more than two filaments when it's turned on. With the amber glass and very fine LED strip array, it looks nice when off as well. If you have a spot to put this, GET IT! If you don't, BUY a lamp to use it with! I think I was surprised at the size due to the golden trim on the base of the bulb. At first glance, that part looks like it's the screw base on a pretty big bulb, but it's accent trim. Attached is a photo next to a standard E26 LED bulb. IT'S MASSIVE! I've had this on every evening the last few weeks for hours a day and it's doing great. You will love this bulb if you're into fancy LED lighting. Get a dimmer and it's a great night light too! This is one of the best LED Edison bulbs I've seen or used, you'll enjoy it.

Wow this lightbulb is massive! I did not read the dimensions but just needed a larger than average light bulb, and was very shocked when I opened the box. I assumed there were 4 “large” bulbs in the box, but there was just one huge lightbulb. This lightbulb is very cool and will look nice on specific lamps, or even like overhead restaurant lights. It definitely does not look great on the traditional lampshade style lamp that I had gotten it for, but would look very cool on an open style lamp that does not have a shade. The bulb itself is pretty bright, definitely brighter than a regular led bulb, but not overly bright.

What can I say? I'm 71 and I still love playing with light bulbs, as I did as a kid. Even once sticking my finger in a nightlight socket and shocking the outta myself did not deter me from this interest. This is my second Luxel light bulb and my plan is to acquire every one they sell. They're beautifully made and packaged, and they are sure conversation starters! I've seen bulbs similar to this in the hardware stores, hanging on single outlet wires, and I'm ALMOST compelled to buy them until I look at the price. Also I'm not really sure how I'd explain it to my wife... and where it should go in HER house. But what the heck, I saw this one and decided it was time. To my amazement, my wife loves this bulb as much as I do. She's the one who suggested where it could go (in the faux-vintage "electronical device" shown in the photo), and she put it on display in our FAMILY ROOM. This is high praise, indeed! Anyway, it's cool, and it does put out a lot of light... so you could indeed use it for something other than decoration. It's very warm white (2200K), almost golden, particularly if dimmed. In the device in the photo, it is dimmed way down, to about 30 volts... and we keep it on all the time. It dims very smoothly from full on to near zero. Do you need it? No. Do you want it? Yes, if you're reading this review. Just buy it and enjoy it. Definitely recommend!

This bulb not only fills the desire for an Edison style aesthetic, but it does so in bold fashion. It's big. No messing around here, it's like five times bigger than a standard bulb. The amber glass is clean and well made, thick enough to handle itself for normal operation, but it is a big piece of glass, so I feel like I need to be gentle with it. It fits well into the socket, so it feels secure. The filament is well made and built, giving it a nice, symmetrical look to it. The light output is very warm, and is about as bright as you'd expect for a 7W bulb. Perfect for an ambient light for a romantic dinner. I think this is a fun and great value purchase if you are focused on the aesthetic of a nice, big bulb.

When they said oversize, they wen't kidding! This bulb is gigantic and will take a larger fixture that what I have. The E26 base is standard, and I love the light it puts out and the style of the filament gives a antique vibe that definitely drew complements when I put it up outside for testing. I feel even with it being led, it needs a covered fixture, so I will be on the lookout for the perfect one! Thank you

This gigantic Edison lightbulb steals the show. I mean, wow. It is absolutely gorgeous. It arrived in great shape, (whew,) and all you have to do is screw it into any E26 base to upgrade a blah lighting fixture. Just remember, it is BIG. I think it is ideal for pendants, especially in multiples, but it won't fit into many fixtures, especially those that require shades.
