I really like a soft warm light in my living room. I wasn't sure if the half chrome on these bulbs would be too harsh or bounced too much light, but I really liked the round shape so I thought it would be worth a try. The bulbs look really stylish. while mine is nestled up into a floor lamp, when you're sitting down you can look up and see the shape and it's aesthetically lovely. well the bulbs give off 60 watts worth of light, it says that they're only using seven watts which is fantastic if you're concerned about your electrical bill as I'm pretty sure all of us are these days. I screwed one of the bulbs into test it and liked how it looked so much in the lamp that I was testing on, that I decided to leave it in so right away I knew these were great. I'm really pleased with these and I'm glad I got three in the box, because now I can put them into two other lamps in the house since one is already taken! In terms of the light bulb being durable, I will definitely come back and update if there are any issues there. But so far no complaints.

When we moved into our current house, I didn't realize that dimmable LEDs were a thing which caused all sorts of odd behavior with the lights in my office. Fast forward to now, when I realize that such a thing DOES exist, and I'm using these light bulbs. The bulbs aren't the brightest in my office, but they are enough that I can see just find when its dark out. I still need to use a desk lamp, but honestly, I like that anyways. The bulbs have a mirrored bottom which helps cast the light back up onto the ceiling, giving a nice diffuse light source.

That's exactly what I was looking for it to do! Creates a nice, soft and indirect light. It's definitely not very bright , especially if you have it in a housing like mine, but I wasn't expecting it to be bright. In fact, I was hoping that it wouldn't be too bright. The bulbs themselves look very aesthetically pleasing, albeit kind of odd since they're half shiny. In my testing so far , I've had no issues with flickering or anything like that , they seem to function exactly like you would expect a light bulb to function. For the money, I think these are a good buy. LED bulbs are typically measured in years , so I can't speak to the lifespan just yet, but I've left this on for quite some time with no issues. Something that I'll mention is that my use case here is using a very small lamp that sits on top of my desk shelf. There's a sharp cut off line where the Chrome is because of how close the light bulb is to the shade. If you were using this in a regular table lamp , for example it wouldn't be so harsh of a cut off. Ultimately it does a great job of lighting up my workspace without beaming light directly into my eyeballs , so I'm happy with it!
